Repair and greatly enhance the exterior building façade to create a progressive-looking facility that welcomes visitors to Dayton.

Comments

Renovations consisted of forms and materials that relate to adjacent structures while creating a bright and fresh ‘new look’ in addition to resolving prior water intrusion issues.

New persuasive architectural elements include a massive, cone shape ‘rotunda’ entry that evokes sculpture and straightforward form, creating a solution from non-traditional building materials. Redesigned main entrance to the Convention Center now acknowledges the re-installed two-way traffic flow on East Fifth Street. An eye-catching LED display system combines graphic images with promotional video reproductions.
